Farming and Molding

We have a very large selection{over 2000} of wood and metal frames. We can also order round, oval, hexagon and cathedral frames in an assortment of sizes. We can build shadow boxes for almost any article or item. We can order custom acrylic boxes in many shapes and sizes. We do ALL our own framing and have 100% control over any job from start to finish.

Conservation Mounting and Dry Mounting

Dependent on the piece to be framed we offer several mounting options. We do Full Conservation Mounting which involves the use of tape hinging, Mylar strip mounting or acid free paste and Japanese rice paper hinging. Lacing, pin stretching or sewing is used on those items that require precise placement of any object and is reversible if necessary. Needlework is always pin stretched to museum standards on acid free foam-core to better protect the handiwork.

Mats and Liners

We carry a full line of ph balanced acid free mats. We do not carry any paper mats. We also carry a large selection of fabric mats and can mount your own fabric selection where necessary{an option very few frames shops offer these days}. Custom fabrics can be ordered for any of our large liner selection.

Canvas Stretching

We can stretch any size canvas either in the typical fashion where the staples show on the side of the stretched piece or in a Gallery wrap format where the image is wrapped around the sides of the stretcher bar and the staples are hidden at the back of the bar.

Glass and Glazing

We carry premium clear, non-glare,conservation, anti-reflective and museum glass plus regular and non-glare acrylics. We are happy to recommend the appropriate glazing for each specific project.
