Using Sierra Advantage's Web Builder

Creating Your First Page:

 To first get started you must activate your web space. To do this simply call our office and ask a technician to activate your web builder account.

The first thing you need to do once you have an account is create an index page. This file is called index.html. This is the start of your web pages, it will be the page that is first displayed when someone goes to your web address webs.directcon.net/username. (Where username is your user name).

   This box creates your index page with whichever template you would like to use. The online editor uses templates of web pages so that you have something to get started with. Below is an example of the "about" template.


 Once you have the page created with a template, you can go in and edit the information on that template to reflect how you'd like your page to look. You can use any of the templates provided, you can preview the templates by clicking on them in this box:

 

   All of your pages will be listed in the box shown here. This box shows the name of each page, the size of each page and will let you either edit or delete the page. To edit any of those pages, simply click on the Edit button.
