A few weeks ago one of our wild turkeys brought 9 babies into the meditation garden for lessons in flying, jumping and hiding. One of the joys of living in the sticks!

Beautiful, yes. Hungry, always! A little buckshot in the butt keeps them moving on, until I'm not looking. They look worried, don't they?

Spring 2000, vegatable garden. I built raised boxes and lined them with aviary wire to keep the moles out. It has worked well, for the most part.

This is the end of the garden near the house. There is a V shaped plot on the other side of the woodshed also with raised beds, and 2 planter boxes which I built and elevated on the fence. Viewed from the upper driveway, this shot shows beds now filled with mushroom compost & ready to plant.

This is a fall picture in the vegatable garden. The morning sun makes the cherry tomatoes glow like jewels. You can NEVER have too many tomatoes. That is a Turpinism!
Yum!
Simple abundance. The fruits of our labor. Good stuff! Need more tomatoes...
